solo1's photosWhen this thing started, there was just one photo of me, from my debs in 1993. It was execrable. Really bad. Now, thankfully, due to broadband, I can throw a few decent-sized photos onto the page without the whole world collapsing around us. So, here we go again. 
Location - Lismore, Co. Waterford: That's me loitering around what is, apparently, Ireland's top toilet. There's a whole lot of jokes I could make about this, but I've decided to let you do that, on your own time. There may be more photos to follow, but this one is going to take some beating, ideologically. 
Location - Clonmel, Co. Tipperary: This is me, again, standing in the back of the garden. Behind me you can see lots of greenery. Very lush, but not very well organised, I'm afraid. Yes, I like the movie "Star Wars". Details on the tattoo can be found in the 2007 diary. 
Location - Dublin: Early 2007, on a trip to Dublin with my wife's sister, who is called Korinna, who is called June. We had just come off the bus, and I was trying to see if I could get through to anyone who might meet us for lunch. Everyone was either too drunk or at work, or both. 
Location - Vienna, Austria: Around the back of a cathedral in Vienna during our visit of October 2004, which was unsatisfactory for a number of reasons outlined elsewhere. The leather jacket is my constant companion. 
Location - Los Angeles, California: Standing outside Korinna's rented accommodation in Glendale, Los Angeles. I like the t-shirt because it saves having to explain the whole thing. 
Location - Long Beach, California: Holding my wife's nephew in the Long Beach Aquarium. They had some trouble getting him to be quiet, and as I was wearing my Rammstein t-shirt, I decided to start screaming Rammstein songs at him. For some reason, that sent him asleep. 
Location - Dublin: Another photo from the "meet" in St. Stephen's Green described in the diary for the 14th of April, 2007. I was getting fed up of the sunshine and everything and I just keeled over. 
Location - Clonmel, August 2007: Just before leaving for the airport to go to Los Angeles forever. 
Location - Lake Elsinore, September 2007: Just around the corner from where I'm living now, in Riverside County, California. The sign is a joke which only French speakers will understand. 
Location - Philadelphia, July 2008: A moving walkway in Philadelphia airport. We've been through this switching airport so often, the lady in the Chick-A-Fila in terminal B recognises us. 
Location - Riverside, December 2008: Me and my books. They come with me everywhere. 
Location - Riverside, January 2010: This is probably the only country in the world where people take you more seriously if you're wearing a cowboy hat. I'm not sure what effect the bunny has. 
Location - Riverside, July 2010: Leonard is my untrainable, adorable, retarded dog. This was taken in a park somewhere. He looks as though he's wistfully thinking back on a long and productive day, but in reality he has the cold, dead uncomprehending eyes that you usually only see in serial killers and some of the more stupid fish. |
